WATCH: DJ Jazzy Jeff - Vinyl Destination

Do you remember the character of "Jazz" in the series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air? Well, the guy was at the time and still is a great DJ who has been touring the world for the great part of his life. He plays everything with roots, from Soul, to Hip-Hop, Disco or Funk and he was there, probably as a teen, with Afrika Bambaataa and Grandmaster Flash, when Dj Kool Herc played at the famous bloc parties in the Bronx during the 70's... I heard Grandmaster saying once: "Hip-hop was not invented by an MC, a break dancer or a graffitti artist, Hip-Hop was invented by a DJ" and he was probably talking about those parties, the roots of hip-hop, those moments of magic around the figure of the DJ giving birth to creative and artisitc expressions such a graffitti or break dance...
